About the project

Now there is finally a new building project in the center of Karlshorst. One of the last vacant lots will be closed in the next few months. Fourteen high-quality condominiums will be built in Stolzenfelsstrasse 14 from autumn 2021, which will be ready for occupancy in spring 2023.

Up until now, Stolzenfelsstrasse has mainly been home to beautiful old Art Nouveau buildings and apartment blocks in the Bauhaus style. With the Fels14 project, a modern building is being created here which, through sophisticated architecture and perfect functionality, combines the demands of modern living with the expectations of climate-friendly construction.

The building meets the KfW Effizienshaus 40 standard and will probably be the building with the lowest energy consumption in Karlshorst.

Much of the modern building will have a light-colored plastered facade. The stepped stairwell made of red brickwork gives the building something special.

The 14 condominiums are spread over 5 floors and can all be reached without steps. Every apartment has at least one balcony or roof terrace or part of the garden. In addition, each apartment has a cellar. There are 13 underground parking spaces and 35 bicycle spaces available.

The memorable building was designed by the Karlshorster office Weyrauch Architects and built by the North German project developer Mentor Projekte GmbH Neumünster / Hamburg / Berlin. High-quality building materials and a well thought-out energetic concept make the house fit for the future.
