About the project

Situated right on the south bank of the River Thames, the Scene is nestled between Amersham Vale, Edward Street, and Valley Road, with the latter separating the complex from Charlottenburg Park, which provides it with a place to stretch your legs. Living in Lewisham, an inner borough of London, has its benefits as the area is rich in greenery. Fordham Park and Margaret McMillan Park are just within a 5-minute walk, and it takes about 25 minutes to reach the famous Greenwich Park, home to astounding views of the city, a rose garden, and a deer park.

Apart from an abundance of beautiful places to wander around, the Scene places its residents in close proximity of the New Cross and Deptford stations, as well as New Cross Road that links the area to the very heart of London.

What are the project features?

The residential complex has a distinctive triangular shape, formed by Amersham Vale, Edward Street, and Valley Road. There are two mid-rise buildings stretched along the latter street with the third one standing parallel to Edward Street. The rest of the space is occupied by townhouses.

All buildings exhibit the same light-coloured brick pattern with sleek full-height windows and two types of balconies. The first one transforms the whole façade as the stacked balconies create a separated structure, supported by white pillars, which alters the building’s image. The second type is presented by traditional cantilevered balconies with beige railings.

In addition, the area of the complex is planted with diverse types of greenery and streaked by paved paths for strolling around the territory.

What is available on-site?

In addition to the on-site green spaces, the residents of the townhouses will have their own private landscaped gardens, while some apartments come with either a terrace or a balcony. Also, the apartment complexes are provided with secure cycle stores.

To ensure security, the units are equipped with video entry systems.

Additionally, the Scene offers wheelchair-friendly homes.
