About the project

In the family-friendly Bålbroskogen, Hemrik builds modern and flexible terraced houses close to nature. The houses are distinguished by their generous windows and patios in several directions. Living in a terraced house means living close to your neighbors, but the houses' entrances and patios are designed so that you feel your own private sphere. the color scheme is in varying muted colors that give each house its own character. The floor plan is flexible to be able to be adapted to your family's needs and wishes. The entrance floor is focused on socializing and has open spaces between the kitchen and living room. There is also plenty of storage and practical functions to make everyday life easier. Upstairs, areas can be used as open living areas or provide the opportunity for more bedrooms.

From Stockholm via E18, it takes no more than 45 minutes to Rimbo, a small town in Norrtälje municipality. Today, only a few thousand people live in Rimbo, but more and more people are beginning to discover the benefits of the family feeling and security of living in the small town.

During the 20th century, Rimbo was a hub in Roslagen's railway network with tracks in all four directions. In 1981, the last tour was run, but the railway tracks still remain, half hidden under grass and tangles and reminiscent of a bygone era. Today, Rimbo is better known for its generous association life and its green surroundings. There are facilities for football, hockey, tennis and handball. In the center there is also a bathhouse with 25-meter lanes and a toddler pool for the little ones. The horse industry is strong and just outside the city center you will find the popular riding school Rimbo Ryttare. Rimbo also offers extensive forest areas and bathing-friendly lakes such as Långsjön, Syningen and Skedviken.

The central part of the area is called Gröningen and will be a landscape architect-designed residential building that is easily reached by all residents. A common, green oasis between the houses with playground, boules court, stormwater pond and space for cozy coffee breaks. . There are several preschools within walking distance of the center, such as Maskrosen, Håsta and Vallby hage. Closest to Bålbroskogen is Bålbro preschool with three departments for children aged 1-5 years. The premises are generous and suitable for play and learning. There is also a preschool yard with the opportunity for an inspiring, challenging and educational play environment. It is also close to play in the woods and nature. The closest to the area is Bålbroskolan with classes F-3. The school is newly built and was completed in the spring of 2020. In direct connection to the school, a cultural stage with space for 350 spectators will also be opened. Here, it is intended that Rimbo Kulturskola's ensembles and both national and international artists will be able to perform. Other primary schools in the vicinity are, for example, Långsjöskolan (F-9), Vibyskolan (F-9) and Ekebyholm (F-9 and upper secondary school).
