Architecture

Nowa Papiernia consists of modern buildings with a simple form, made in contrasting colors - white and dark gray. Separate parts of the façades of the buildings are built of red brick, which creates an architectural effect of combining the historical character of the place, which in the 19th century was a paper factory, and modernity. A lot of glass surfaces were used. The architecture of the buildings is complemented by a park-like, illuminated courtyard with benches and places to rest. The estate includes the Pod Pelikanem tenement house, rebuilt to resemble the Zum Pelikan tenement house from the second half of the 19th century. The architectural design of the building combines neo-renaissance and neo-Gothic elements with modern trends in architecture. The facade is decorated with brick cladding, cornices and bands around the windows. Common parts inside the building are decorated in black and white, varied with mirrors and stucco.

Infrastructure of the estate
