The approximately 800 social rented homes, mid-term rental homes and private sector homes that form this new city quarter are diverse in architecture and type. The New Defense is developing in phases. At the beginning of 2021, the festive go-ahead was given for the construction of the first phase, which consists of 80 social rental homes and 211 owner-occupied homes.
