About the project
Rural idyll with urban comfort
At the beginning of June, we start selling 31 flats in the new housing project Flats on the Square.
A chamber residential project by architect Jan Línek, one of the most prominent personalities of the Czech architectural scene of the last thirty years.
The newly built two apartment buildings in a private garden are located in the historic center of Dolní Měcholupy. The architectural design respects the current historical character of the development, the height level and the structure of the public space, to which it is directly connected. At the same time, however, as is usual with Jan Línek, it offers a distinctive architecture that does not copy, but brings a new quality to the existing territory.
The Byty na návsi project goes against those trends that are striving for unified production of small flats. Although you will also find "ordinary" flats 1 + kk - 3 + kk in the houses, as one of the few projects in Prague it offers spacious family flats 4 + kk, 5 + kk and even 6 + kk.
The houses are only three-storey. They have a ground floor with direct access from the apartments to the front gardens, the 1st floor and a residential attic. Large apartments on the upper floors are designed mainly as maisonettes. Although these are low-rise buildings, all apartments are accessible by elevator from the garage and ground floor.
Standard equipment includes, among other things, solid wooden floors, outdoor blinds or shutters and preparation for air conditioning in all apartments.
