Reina Condos is a new mid-rise luxury residential condominium development in Etobicoke. This pre-construction project by Urban Capital and Spotlight Development Inc is located at 689 The Queensway just east of Royal York Road in The Queensway neighbourhood. This project has an occupancy date of 2023. 

This 9 storey modern building offering a total of 197 units with 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms + den and 3 bedrooms layouts.

Composed of an all-star roster of seasoned industry veterans, these developers are looking to build an unprecedented luxury residence where everything from the street level design to unit layouts will be characterized by the female perspective, breaking a new ground as Canada's first condominium designed and developed by an all-women team.

Reina Condos is a mid-rise brick and glass building located in the heart of budding Queensway Village, these builders have arranged a public design consultation in order to determine the needs of their purchasers.

"Reina" a Spanish word for queen, this developer aims to provide a voice to expectant mothers with an online questionnaire that specifically asks about the struggles of raising children. Upgrades include communal storage space for strollers on the first floor, bedrooms designed specifically for children and even a communal kitchen as an amenity so families can host large gatherings.

The developer has said they expect the building’s design to be U-shaped and feature a stepped back, consisting of 197 units, 150 underground resident parking spaces and 29 commercial and visitor parking spaces, 5,100 square feet of indoor amenities as well as a 6,500-sq-ft. outdoor courtyard. 

Unit layouts are characterized by the female perspective 

Approximately 5,400 square feet of retail space along The Queensway, which will. be lined with street trees.

The future amenities at Reina Condos are designed to bring people together and will include a main-floor mini general store to pick up staples such as milk, diapers and snacks; a room for automated parcel delivery; and on-site classes (eg. gardening and art) that are included with condo fees. 

The 5,100 square feet of interior amenities designed with all ages in mind will include a gym, yoga studio, community room, kids playroom, sound(less) room hobby room, games room, library, snack shack, parcel room, sharing library, pet wash, electric car charging station and stroller parking.
