About the project

When we planned the layout of the apartments, we asked for input from people who would like to live here. We have followed these inputs, and the result is a nice mix of good floor plans. There will be large bicycle parking indoors at street level, and parking for cars in a common garage for Ensjø Torg - both with charging options. On the ground floor, there are ambitions to open a café, a natural social meeting place for everyone who lives in Vario. On the ground floor there will also be a common room for the residents. Home office spaces, homework corner, gaming room, shuffleboard or all at once? Exactly what this room will be used for is not yet determined, but it will mean a lot to the community. Ensjø is an old industrial area, and one of the neighboring buildings to VARIO is a locomotive factory from the end of the 19th century. This has helped to shape the look - VARIO is clad in facade panels with wooden elements, and will create a nice meeting between old and new. The outdoor areas are pleasantly planted, and are illuminated when darkness falls. Here it will be safe and good, around the clock.
