About the project
In June 2021, SPG acquired a property in Drammen Municipality from Berg Investment AS, which is owned by the Berg family. The plot has been in the Berg family's property since the 1930s and has been used to conduct port operations and to produce cable drums.
Elva and the Fjord are an important part of Drammen's development. The history of the area must be preserved at the same time as it must be renewed into a place to live in the future. At Slippen, we will build apartments for different people and our vision is to create a district and destination where all people can thrive.
The detailed plan allows construction for 600-700 homes on the 4.5-hectare property. The development work is divided into five phases. In the first phase, about 150 homes, parks and a promenade accessible to the public will be built. Construction is expected to start in 2023.
