About the project

The recognizable pear-shaped access road will be restored, the pond will be upgraded and several new footpaths will be laid in the garden. The architecture of the four new buildings is light, calm and timeless. You immediately feel this in the materials used. A unique hand-shaped facing brick was chosen for the facades. The windows are made of light aluminum. Architects Alaers and partners thus ensure that the historical value of the park garden and the beautiful, centrally located Hooghuys is optimally preserved.
