About the project
This Renaissance palace in Lower Manhattan was completed in 1898 and included a thirteen-story addition made by the legendary architectural firm McKim, Mead & White, whose designs for the first Madison Square Garden and Pennsylvania stations set the aesthetic standard of New York.
108 LEONARD pays tribute to the most coveted elements of an architectural masterpiece, including dramatic details of scale, proportion and volume. Here, ornamental grandeur and historical origin are again combined with new, modern forms and priorities of modern design.
The renowned design firm Jeffrey Beers International has carefully restored the building of architects McKim Mead & White in the Italian Renaissance Revival style. Mr. Beers masterfully penetrated the modern and at the same time timeless design of the most iconic building of the Tribeca district.
