With great enthusiasm we bought our apartment from Gestilar under the name Mediterrània 1. We bought it in June 2019. Unfortunately, the promised delivery date kept getting pushed back. According to the contract, the apartment should be handed over by September at the latest. take place in 2021. It was always communicated that the apartment handover should take place on schedule in September. Of course, furniture with a delivery date of September was not only bought by us on this date, but also by many other buyers of the apartments. But the delivery date was pushed back every 6 weeks. In November 2021 we were able to visit our apartment for the first time. We immediately noticed that a pane of glass on the terrace was damaged. Of course we reported the complaint to Gestilar, but nothing happened. According to Gestilar, we should now report the error to the property developer online on a website in April. According to email promises, the apartment should be handed over at the beginning of January 2022, but again we were put off and sometimes deliberately lied to. On April 5th, the notary appointment was finally planned to hand over the apartment. But the latest surprise is coming. Not as announced and actually a matter of course that an apartment inspection should take place before the notary appointment, we are told that the apartment will be handed over without electricity and water, which means that we have electr. have ordered roller shutters, the apartment is pitch black when handed over. After discussions with our lawyer (can be named on request) who advised and represented us very well over the entire period, we were relieved of our concerns and the notary appointment could take place. At the notary appointment, our lawyer immediately pointed out that our apartment was still encumbered by Gestilar with a loan, so the purchase contract was only concluded with reservations and Gestilar then had 3 days to clear the encumbrance on the apartment. After the notary was done and we could finally dispose of our apartment, we had to take care of the water and electricity ourselves. In an email before the notary appointment, we were promised that Gestilar would help, but now we only had the addresses of an external service provider who would take care of the matter for us for a fee. Now we've been waiting 20 days to get electricity in the apartment. In the meantime we have flown back to Germany and ask every day whether the electricity meter has finally been installed. How should a normal person who has to plan his vacation work with such an unreliable developer, I can only advise against it. A few days ago we had a meeting with the property management and many other buyers from Mediterrània. I can tell you that there are very, very many dissatisfied buyers of the property who, like us, feel they have been ripped off by Gestilar. Our opinion about the purchase from Gestilar, the planning of the apartment and the facility is top and deserves 5 stars, but the entire process after purchasing the apartment is simply inadequate and cannot be surpassed in terms of audacity, I think like many buyers of the apartment "Never again Gestilar" !!! A dissatisfied buyer.
