Empire One Wembley

WARNING: Do not book "Empire One" or "Stylish Apartments" in Wembley. Left stranded after flying from Australia – the building is a construction site.Body:DO NOT BOOK THESE LISTINGS. IT IS A SCAM/TRAP.My family and I just arrived in London after a long-haul flight from Australia, only to be completely ghosted by Empire One / "Stylish Apartments" on Wembley Park Drive.We booked this place 10 months ago and paid 3 weeks ago. The host ignored our messages and calls all day. We were left stranded outside for six hours until Booking.com finally cancelled the reservation at 4:45 PM.The Reality of the Building (See Attached Photos):We went to the physical site of Empire One, and it looks completely unsafe. The entire bottom floor has broken glass that has been boarded up with wooden blocks (looking like it has been broken into or heavily vandalised). It appears they are trying to renovate or build from the top down, and the ground floor is literally an active, messy construction zone. It is completely unfit for guests.Unreliable hosts are using generic keywords like "Stylish Apartment" or using the "Empire One" building name to trick people into paying months in advance for a property that isn't even finished or legally safe to stay in.Thankfully we had emergency funds to pay for a real hotel upfront while we wait for a refund, but please upvote this so other overseas travellers coming for Wembley events don't get trapped by this place!Details to avoid:Property: Empire One Apartments / Stylish ApartmentsLocation: Wembley Park Drive / Empire Way, London HA9Platform: Booking.com
