Zheldoripoteka is a subsidiary of Russian Railways created for the social customer in 2001. It was specially formed to meet the needs of the affordable housing program for employees of the federal railway transport sector. The company belongs to the Russian Railways OJSC, but today it has switched to a commercial basis and provides development services to third-party companies. Over the fifteen years of operation, the Russian Railways subsidiary has built 27,000 premises, handing over apartments for a total of 1.7 million square meters. m in more than thirty cities of Russia.
Zheldoripoteka has opened representative offices in 15 key cities of Russia: in addition to the capital, branches operate in Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Chita. The latter were founded in Saratov, Voronezh, Khabarovsk, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod and Chelyabinsk. In 2008, an office was opened in Kazan thanks to the attraction of non-core assets, with their help the first hotel of the company ParkInn Kazan was built.
Zheldoripoteka provides preferential mortgage conditions for RZD employees, annually rents out 4-5 thousand finished apartments throughout the country. For the current year, 17 thousand workers families have already taken part in the project. Since 2005, the company's goal has been commercial profit. Now everyone can purchase apartments and commercial property from the builder, without having to have a length of service in Russian Railways.
