My wife and I signed a contract to purchase a condo. The contract had a refundable deposit. When we asked for our deposit back, they refused and came up with a bunch of excuses not to give us the deposit back. I would stay away from this resort. There are plenty of other places on Ambergris Caye with more reputable developers.
